Writing about America in the pre-United States days of the
1500s and 1600s is no easy task. You not only have to research the
time period, you have to reconstruct it in poetry or fiction that brings it
alive in full color: sight, sound, smell, texture, emotion. We
know that the best writers have that capability. Whether you think you
are among the best, or wish to achieve a personal milestone by trying your
best, we encourage all interested writers to go to the "Fiction" and
"Poetry" buttons for our contest information, with postmark deadlines of
February 2, 2008.
Please note that Sensations Magazine requires annual membership in
The Six Centuries Club of America, in order to submit poetry or fiction.
Rates start at $20/year for 2008, and each membership rates includes copies of the publication. If you do not wish to support
us under these terms, thank you for visiting us, and good luck publishing elsewhere.
