Welcome to www.sensationsmag.com!  Our website was initially launched on February 1, 2001, and has been through nine major revisions since (July 2003, September 2003, July 2004, February 2005, December 2005, January 2006, October 2006, February 2007, and December 2007/January 2008). 

Here is our latest, more user-friendly, website structure:
 
Sensations Magazine (Main Page) - UPDATED 12/23/07
All Sensations Magazine covers from 1987 to 2007 now up; each one can be clicked for a larger size version.  Also up:  all six Snake Hill Press poetry books released from 1999 to 2006.  A new "quick version" introduction was added on 12/23/2007.

This page, with new website structure of ten "function" buttons on the main page (and 85 more pages underneath), make Sensations Magazine one of the most robust literary magazine offerings on the Internet.

The Sensations Magazine Creative Events series is the second-longest poetry reading series operating in New Jersey; 2008 marks our 20th season.  Our Creative Events for 2008 are listed here; TEN EVENTS, FROM APRIL-OCTOBER 2008, INCLUDED IN THIS UPDATE.
Submit - UPDATED 4/20/08
Now up - 2008 submission requirements for poetry, fiction, photography, and research articles.  Also learn how to get your poetry book reviewed in 2007.  Update includes new postmark deadlines of February 2, 2008 for fiction and June 1, 2008 for poetry (giving you more time to get it sensational).

CURRENT POETRY NEEDS:  Begin researching the history of pre-colonial America, during the years 1500-1699, in anticipation of submissions needed for Issue 43, "16th Century America,"  and Issue 44, "17th Century America." NEW postmark deadline for poetry:  June 1, 2008.  Begin submitting now.

CURRENT FICTION NEEDS:  Begin researching the history of pre-colonial America during the years 1700-1899, in anticipation of fiction submissions needed for Issue 45, "18th Century America," and Issue 46, "19th Century America."  Postmark deadline:  Feb. 2, 2009 (will not be extended).  Begin submitting:  January 1, 2009.

The Six Centuries Club Report contains latest club news.  In the "Update" section, you also can find out if you've been selected for publication, learn how you can help us help others, and read a poem published in a recent Sensations Magazine.  Have a change of phone #, e-mail address, or mailing address?  Update us here.
Remember - UPDATED 12/23/07
Travel year-by-year, view full-color reproductions of all magazine and book covers, and full color event photos, and reminisce over the many opportunities we've provided for writers, singers, musicians, and dancers to share their talents with audiences.  There are now over 150 color photographs in this section; years 1987 to 2005 are now fully completed.  Preliminary details and photos for 2008-2012 are now up. 

NEW MATERIAL:  Click the "2007" and "2007-08 Lafayette" buttons for the 12/23/07 updates, including photographs of the Six Centuries Club show in September 2007.  (Photographs from the December 2007 show at Armstrong's Hall will be added in 2008.)  For an understanding of the shift in focus to American history, go to the "2008-2010" button for some insights.
