Mission Statements

The Six Centuries Club

"The Six Centuries Club of America, Inc. was formed to increase awareness and appreciation of the 'researched reality' of American history.  Through a return to original primary eyewitness resources still extant from the 1500s, 1600s, etc., combined with cutting-edge 21st century scientific technologies that are giving us new insights into America's earliest years, The Six Centuries Club will share stories and insights into 600 years of American history from a multicultural standpoint, with a special emphasis on including the histories of minorities that are often left out of larger texts.  Our focus is on events, people, moods, and sensations during six different centuries, with research limited to happenings on what is now present-day United States of America soil, and including poets and fiction writers who will bring these early centuries to new life through their individual journeys into imagination."

Sensations Magazine

"Sensations Magazine offers our full-year annual subscribers opportunity:  for publication and critical feedback of poetry and fiction; for challenging themselves by writing new material on themes we provide; for learning about American history through research articles and essays we publish; for taking part in workshops, writers' retreats, and other events we sponsor in order to aid and support writers; for creating a supportive, pleasant literary community 'with class and without crass'; and we offer our full-year annual subscribers and the general public opportunity: for participating in or experiencing our offerings of poetry, music, and/or dance; for participating in lectures and workshops; for helping other organizations in need by donating to announced fundraising efforts;  and, in a small way, for creating a better world through our mutual passion and compassion for the written and spoken word, and for learning through literature."
