Centuries Club Report

Release Date:  April 2008

Once again, a happy National Poetry Month to all.

1.  Time to join or rejoin is NOW

It isn't a club without your paid membership.  Please go to "Join" button for information on 2008 memberships today.

2.  Poetry deadline extended to June 1, 2008

Poems inspired by events in America in the 16th and 17th centuries may still be submitted, with a FIRM postmark deadline of June 1.  This truly is it, folks.  Get cracking and send us some sensational poems before the deadline.

3.  Issue 42 nearing "final print" stage

The never-ending project is nearing its end.  Reconstructing all these years of our history, in great detail, hasn't been easy.  We ask your continued patience as we finish pulling this together as expediently, yet thoroughly, as possible.

4.   Formal tour not quite over

David Messineo will hold the last of his Formal readings between now and June 30, 2008, break for summer, then resume in 2008-2009.

5.  Creative Events set for 2008 season

All dates are now confirmed and locked.  Click the "Attend" button for details.

6.  New library subscriptions for 2007

Sensations Magazine welcomes Caldwell Public Library, Sayreville Public Library - and the return of Newark Public Library - as active institutional subscribers.

7.  PayPal convenience reactivated

After a long absence, we've reactivated PayPal.  To use PayPal to make a $50 payment (for Issues 42, 43, and 44) or $30 payment (for Issues 43 and 44), go to the "Join" button.

8.  Donation to the J.K Wright Memorial Foundation

The final three copies of the "Losing a Child and Other Loved Ones" supplement are being donated to the J.K Wright Memorial Foundation, based at Johnny Angel in Lafayette, NJ.  Go visit the store, buy the supplement for $20 - and the full proceeds will go to the memorial scholarship, which you can learn about at the location. The store is on the western side of Route 15, adjoining the Mabie House/Lafayette Preservation Foundation building.
