First Impressions contains selected poems, song lyrics, and other creative writing endeavors of David Messineo.  The 53 pieces were all written between the ages of 9 and 18, and include works written at School #3, School #1, and Passaic Valley High School, all in Little Falls, NJ; and during his freshman year at Fordham University in the Bronx. 

First Impressions was released as a self-published chapbook, featuring cover design by Galen Warden, and in an initial print run of 150 copies.  All 150 copies of First Impressions were handed out for free to individuals who attended readings in his 2002 "20th Anniversary Restoration Tour." 

First Impressions is out-of-print and "sold out."  No additional print runs are planned at the present time.
